DotNet Editor

This editor is used for visualization of DotNet forms.

The editor shows both the original (Native) form and the translated form. The user can easily switch between these modes in the tabs.

Overview

The user can edit string properties in the editor. See how DotNet Visual Editor looks like in the image below:

Multilizer DotNet visual editor is designed by keeping DotNet look and feel in mind. For instance property editor (see the red rectangle in the figure above) allows the user to see all relevant information of the form.

In order to visualize those DotNet controls that can't be found in the system, Multilizer DotNet Visual Editor uses component mapping. The idea of component mapping is to show 3rd-party/unknown control with a standard control instead. You can create your own mapping file for controls used in your application. In this file you'll need to specify library where these controls are implemented or specify standard control that can be used for displaying instead of 3rd-party. See sample below:

<mappings>
<assemblies>
<!--path to assembly to search unknown components in-->
<assembly name="c:\Users\%username%\Documents\Visual Studio 2013\Projects\WindowsFormsApplication4\WindowsFormsControlLibrary1\bin\Debug\WindowsFormsControlLibrary1.dll"/>
</assemblies>
<!--standard Panel control will be displayed instead of AxSHDocVw.AxWebBrowser-->
<component name="AxSHDocVw.AxWebBrowser" class="Panel"/>
</mappings>
