Overview. Flash Scanner allows the user to localize Adobe Flash files (.swf files). SWF functions as the dominant format for displaying "animated" vector graphics on the Web. It may also be used for programs, commonly browser games, using ActionScript.
This plug-in is available as a separate plug-in. To get an evaluation version of this plug-in, contact sales(at)multilizer.com.
On the output tab the user defines the output directory or filename.
On the Advanved tab there are two options:
Locking HTML tags in texts makes it possible to ensure that HTML format tags are used in localized Flash file too. Check this option, if it is important to preserve formatting of the original text.
Verbose scan log is useful for debugging purpose. When this option is checked, Multilizer scan log will contain information of every single object inside the Flash file; in a minimum the verbose log tells the type and size of every object.
It's useful to review the scan log. Besides giving technical information (version, compression, etc.) of the Flash file to localize, the scan log also may give hints that improve the result of the localization.
