Multilizer 2011 version 7.8.5 - Monday, May 30, 2011

The latest Multilizer Release, Multilizer 7.8.5, has been designed to enhance the translation process and to minimize the possibility of making mistakes in the translation phase that affect the functionality of the software. The most important new innovations include both the significantly enhanced functionality of the Translation Window and the Assisted Translation Expert and the remarkably improved VCL Scanner.

More controlled translation of special translation segments with improved Translation Window
The Translation Window (i.e. the section which is used for translation work in a Multilizer project) has been enhanced. This improvement is especially designed for projects containing embedded read-only content in translation segments. For example the visibility of the translatable text has been intensified and new short-cuts have been created. These speed up both the navigation and the auto-translation of mixed segments. These improvements in the Translation Window ensure that now it is much easier and quicker to translate any translation segments which contain embedded read-only parts.

More fluent translation process with enhanced Assisted Translation Expert
Now it is possible to replace selected text in Translation Window with translation coming from Assisted Translation Expert. Assisted Translation Expert, which is for example the source of automatic translations from any Translation Memory, is located in right bottom in a Multilizer project. Opposed to earlier functionality when Assisted Translation Expert translations replaced the entire text in translation window, now you are able to select the part to be replaced with the new translation. Minimized possibility of making fatal translation mistakes with further developed VCL Scanner
The Delphi and C++Builder Binary Scanner is now optimized for InfoPower components. These InfoPower components may include signs or characters which are crucial for the localized application. Even small modifications to these technical parts can lead up to the situation where the application don't function at all - and it can take a lot of time to locate the mistake within hundreds or thousands of strings. The improved VCL Scanner returns texts for translation in a more intuitive way, so that there is a significantly decreased chance to break the software functionality when translating.
