MultiMT - Multiple Machine Translation Importer
Background
MultiMT (Multiple Machine Translation) Importer has basic features. First, it fetches translations from multiple machine translation engines. Secondly, it provides automatic evaluation of translation quality. Thirdly, it provides support for proxies. These features are discussed in more detail below.

Multiple Machine Translation Engines
MultiMT Importer provides a single user interface for using multiple machine translation services simultaneosly, thus reducing the need for separate configurations for each service. The initial version uses Google, Bing, and Babelfish machine translation engines. Other engines will be added as they become available.
Note that machine translation engines may support different languages. MultiMT Importer automatically recognizes the supported languages and fetches translations from those machine translation services that support the currently used languages.
Automatic evaluation of translation quality
MultiMT automatically evaluates the translations received from the machine translation engines. It operates using a simple principle that the more similar the translations received from the machine translation services are, the more likely they are appropriate as it would be highly unlikely that several engines would make exactly the same translation errors.
Proxy support
MultiMT Importer incorporates support for http proxy. The Connection tab in the configuration dialog allows the user enter proxy server and port. In addition, if the proxy requires credentials, the user may enter username and password for the proxy. Proxy settings are saved; credentials are encrypted when saving.
